A HORSE ADVENTURE
Giving the opportunity for kids to learn about gentle giants.
I give the opportunity to get a great experience for kids that have either always wanted to learn about or meet a horse. I also help to get over fears of horses that some may have, or to even just learn interesting facts about horses.
THE 3 PACKAGES WE OFFER.
A fun experience for everyone!
PACKAGE 1
Package 1 is for kids who just want a small experience with a horse or want to meet a horse.
We will learn about horses in general and some fun facts.
We will learn how to lay your hand flat to feed the horse a treat properly.
At the end of the experience I will take a picture if wanted to capture the moment for you.
The cost of this package is $10.
PACKAGE 2
Package 2 is for kids who want to get more up close and personal with a horse.
We will start with package 1 and go into how to walk around a horse and how to just be with them.
We will learn about the grooming of a horses and how to do it.
At the end of the experience I will take a picture if wanted to capture the moment for you.
The cost of this package is $15.
PACKAGE 3
Package 3 is the most involved package. This package is for kids who love horses or have always wanted to ride one.
We learn all of package 1 & 2.
We will go into learning about the riding equipment and how to properly put it on the horse.
We will learn how to get off and on the horse and go for a "pony ride".
At the end of the experience I will take a picture if wanted to capture the moment for you.
The cost of this package is $20.
ABOUT ME.
WHY ?
I have been around horses my whole life. I was lucky enough to have grandparents that love horses and wanted to share that love with me. So that is what I want to do, I want to give any kid the opportunity to get a taste of something that I am thankful to have. Not every kid gets to have the pony they always wanted or get to be able to have a connection with someone that has horses. I want to be that person. I want to give back a little piece of something that not everyone can get a hold of.

Hi my name is Sharon. I am one of the lucky ones that has been able to have a horse in my reach at all times. My grandpa has had horses since he was 14 years old. He thinks horses have a special power to help others and teach responsibility. So he has always pushed all his grand kids to horses. I was riding a horse before I could even walk, and from then on as long as I can remember I have always wanted to be with the horses. Every chance I got I was out feeding or riding with my grandpa. I have been teaching my 2 nieces ( the oldest is 10 and the youngest is 5) how to ride and be around the horses just like my grandpa did me. I want to reach out more to others and not just my family.

ARE THE HORSES FRIENDLY?
Yes the horses are friendly they love being around people. Safety is our number one priority here at A Horse Adventure!
HOW LONG IS THE RIDING PORTION OF PACKAGE 3?
The riding portion of package 3 takes about 15-30 mins depending on the person riding.
DO I NEED EXPERIENCE?
No not at all! We have a lot of first time riders. That's actually the reason for A Horse Adventure!!
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE?
I have tons of experience with being around horses my whole life. But I’ am not a certified instructor, I just love to share the knowledge of horses and a great experience.
IS THERE A HELMET AVAILABLE?
Yes, there is a helmet that is required to be worn to ride the horse, because safety is our number priority.
IS THERE A WAIVER TO SIGN.
Yes! There is a waiver to ensure safety because safety is our top priority. Safety is one of the number one reason I started this business.
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
All ages are welcome but no kids under the age of 5 are allowed to ride the horse because of safety. They are welcome to pet the horse and be there for the experience for someone else.
DO I HAVE THE OPTION TO CHOOSE THE HORSE I WANT?
There are two horse for Package 1 but only one horse for the other two packages. I only allow one person at a time to give a one-on-one experience.
